Rosemary Russet is a good dessert apple, good keeping quality, vigorous tree. It does better with a pollinator. It was introduced in 1831.
The apples are variably russeted, juicy and quite sharp. The tree has bright red buds and peach-pink blossom, making it an attractive feature in a garden orchard.
