Van is a hardy cherry variety that needs a pollinator (Lapins, Merton Glory, Morello, Stella, Summer Sun). It yields large crops of maroon-colour, sweet cherries, cropping from mid June.
Van is a very attractive tree, with its glossy leaves, fine white blossom, and lovely fruit. In autumn, the leaves turn bright yellow.
